I purchased this netbook after considering other options such as the various tablets and netbooks available. The benefits of this netbook over the others I researched was the capabilities i.e. long battery life, decent power of the processor, good graphics, nice keyboard, internal storage, and expandability. I picked it over the tablet market because the various forms of tablets still fall short of the main need to be able to work, not for long periods of time, with multiple media forms such as word, excel, powerpoint, picture editing, and video manipulation. Tablets are cool, and handy, but this netbook and others like it offer the same portability as the tablets with great user experience and productivity.

As a graduate student, I was looking for a small, lightweight but fully functional computer to take with me to class so I'd have all the PDF readings available to me without having to print them, and also for taking notes in class. This little netbook is PERFECT for what I was looking for. It's not perfect, but after reading all the reviews of other netbooks this is as close as you can get. In short:
Pros: lightweight and portable nice and sturdy in look and feel keyboard is smaller than usual but easy to get used to battery lasts 8-9 hours on power saving setting, which compromises nothing quick start-up means I can turn it off when I don't need it and immediately boot it back up if needed webcam is basic, but sufficient, and has a shutter to ensure privacy
Cons: Windows 7 starter doesn't let you change the wallpaper picture (not a big deal) the right shift key is so tiny that sometimes I hit "pg up" instead... Read more

I bought this netbook for my wife who needs a really portable machine to her's masters degree. This machine is not powerful but do the job in office applications and web surfing. The black alluminun finish is very good looking.I intend to put a new 2GB memory to piece of mind. One last thing,always search in the web to find the best deal. Found at $299

I have been searching for a sleeve to carry my Chrome OS Notebook (CR-48) in since I got the laptop. My search is over. This sleeve fits the notebook perfectly. Snug fit, but I love it! No more awkward sized cases for this little notebook that make it look huge. Doesn't add much to the overall size, considering how protected it makes it.

Great case! Arrived very quickly and fits snugly on my ASUS UL-20. It has a flap towards the top under the red part where you slide in your laptop, there is no zipper which is kind of nice but takes some getting used to. Overall i am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend this case.

Fits the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook wonderfully. Couldn't have asked for better. Keeps the scratches away, while not adding too much bulk. Plus, it is just plain sharp looking.
